Denise the Wine Shop Overview: 25th November 2008
In August 2006, Denise the Wine Shop set up its first store in Singapore and has since established 16 stores across Singapore, making it the Singapore’s biggest independent fine wine shop.
Bringing their passion for wine into the shops, the staff aim to create the ultimate wine experience for customers by offering a huge range of world-class wines. Customers can also sign up for wine appreciation classes, take part in free wine tastings, attend wine dinners with world-class wine makers, hold parties or events at any of the Denise shops, hire a Sommelier for private events, receive advice on food matching, wine storage, wine rankings and investing in wines, as well as enjoy members privileges and free island wide delivery.
Denise the Wine Shop works directly and exclusively with vineyards, around the world, and imports premium wine from regions as diverse as Australia, France, New Zealand, Spain, Italy, South Africa, Germany, Chile, Argentina, Switzerland, USA, Hungary, and Portugal.
With a tagline of, " Denise the Wine Shop - Life's Nicest Moments ” We promise to bring wonderful wines and true value to those who visit our stores, and take pride in being able to source any wine from anywhere in the world.

Singapore Straits Wine Company is the wholesale arm of Denise The Wine Store, which supplies the on trade throughout Singapore. Some of our clients include the The Intercontinental, The Tanglin Club, The Singapore Cricket Club, Citibank, The Ritz Carlton, The Hilton, Singapore Airlines, Wine Garage, Indochine, DFS, and many more.
Universal Wine Bar, and Uluru Steak House are our two restaurants tucked away in the hidden jewel that is Duxton Hill. The long history of the area, big trees and cobblestone street make for the perfect hideaway. Both restaurants offer two very diverse menus and of course excellent wine list’s, both by the bottle and by the glass.
Our WineTalk magazine (10,000 production) is a recent venture, that aims to entertain, educate and inform Singaporeans about everything wine related. We also focus on what we are up to at Denise the Wine Shop, what our wine partners around the world are doing as well as what is happening in the food and wine scene in Singapore.
www.denisethewineshop.com is our newest venture. We plan to launch it on the 1st of December. We believe that online sales in Singapore will become a very important market, and so aim to offer everything that our wine shops offer online, making buying wine online as much of a pleasure as buying wine from one of our shops.
